Seikantei in Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture Seikantei was built in 1906 as a villa for the Marquis Nagashige Kuroda, who was active in the Meiji era (1868-1912). The area around Seikantei is located at the tip of a ridge that extends from Hakone, called Tenjinyama, and on a clear day, you can see Sagami Bay and Mt. Hakone with the Manazuru Peninsula and Oshima Island from the main building.
